Ninety Seventh Post

Spring break! Some cool stuff happened that I could post about, or I could post about how Alex failed me. I could also talk about being screwed over by Shoreline Community College again (this time of my own doing). Instead of doing any of these I think I'll talk about Oblivion and some other thing. Maybe those in a later post.

Ok. Oblivion. So I am this really awesome magic user that can destroy anything in one on one combat (which is sort of rare in the game). Too many people though and I start to fail. Background done and now a short story.

So I journeyed into the secret hide out of a cult devoted to resurrecting the god of destruction. This was the same cult that assassinated the emperor to extinguish the dragon flames and connect Oblivion to the real world (if this is spoiling the story for you David then you deserve it for not getting this far).

A man in front of the door asked me kindly to give all my worldly possessions to him and join the cult. I refused knowing that it would take a long time to have to find all my stuff again after betraying the cult. He then asked again, threateningly though. After I refused he gave a speech about how all those who defied the cult would be killed and proceeded to try to kill me. At the precise second he ended his tirade he drew his weapon. Calmly I turned invisible and walked past him. I then kept walking past cult members until I came to the main hall. I saw the leader of the cult and attempted to kill him. I attacked him with my magic sword, but the game would not let him die saying that godly magic was protecting him or something so that he could be used later as a plot device.

The cult leader then escaped through a magic vortex to a plane of Oblivion, and the rest of the cult made angry faces and used generic threats. I then turned invisible again and looked at what I was supposed to do for the main quest. I had to grab a book from their headquarters and deliver it to Martin, the emperor's illegitimate son. I walked out of the hideout invisible and was able to deliver the book safely (turning invisible whenever I saw an enemy)

Now for something that will probably take up a lot of my time. I will start on a really awesome project. It will be the creation of a sequel to the best book of all time. The book will be called To Kill a Mockingbird II: Revenge of the Mockingbird and it will have literary devices character development plot twists and other things too.

Don't worry, I beat almost everything in the game last summer. Then more recently, I beat everything in the Shivering Isles. Now I need to beat the Knights of Nine!

Also, GJ on getting threatened by cult members.

OMG THAT PICTURE IS HILARIOUS.

I started laughing in Adult Living and Gabe Wilson looks over at my screen like "What is so funny?"

I don't know anything about Oblivion so I can't really comment there.
